Steve has worked in the fishing trade for nineteen years sixteen of these previously at Yateley Angling Centre. Steve has caught a number of carp both here in the UK and abroad. Steve also enjoys a spot of match and barbel fishing and regularly contributes features in a number of top profile angling publications.

Ben Hamilton

Ben has accounted for some of the country’s top carp and is a well-respected angler. He also contributes regular features in many top carp angling magazines. However, Ben does like to target other species when fishing like, perch and zander. Ben and Steve work in a partnership with product development ideas.

Phil Buckley

Alan Welch

Another old skool angler who has always kept a low profile. Alan has caught a number of highly sought after big fish over the years. Richard Prince

Richard is one of the best day session anglers around only fishing a few hours at a time. He has taken a number of waters apart with his little methods. He is one of our field testers who takes our products through their paces!

Gaz Fareham

A highly respected angler in the fishing industry. Gaz is a very forward thinking angler, banking a number of the countries top carp and regularly contributes in the carp magazines, videos & dvd's. Gaz will help out with product testing and development.

Martin Ford

Martin has been carp fishing for more years than he cares to remember, first fishing for carp and catching his first 20lb carp back in 1978 at the Rackerhayes complex in Devon. After 16 years in magazine publishing where he has written for, and edited most of the modern-day carp fishing titles including Advanced Carp and Carpworld, Martin now runs his own sales and media company Trading Connexions, which is based in the north of the country. Martin has fished all over the world including recent years at venues as far away as America and Bosnia. Martin brings a wealth of carp fishing experience to the team with his long standing association with the angling trade and angling media.

Kevin Wilson

Its been apparent to us at Thinking Anglers that there are certain anglers who go about there fishing but quietly catch big carp consistently and Kevin is one of those, we are pleased to have Kevin onboard to help with product development on the rig side of things as his attention to detail is spot on.
